D&K - A wedding in Saint Rémy de Provence - Château de Roussan

D&K left their Florida home to celebrate their wedding in Saint Rémy de Provence.

It is at the Château de Roussan that three days of festivities were held under the sign of love. This luxurious hotel with its singular and authentic charm in Saint-Rémy de Provence promises serenity and sweetness. Getting married in the heart of the Alpilles is the perfect event for many couples.

We started with a welcome dinner by bringing in a food truck specializing in Auvergne cheeses to garnish its delicious burgers and crepes with good French taste. It was a very festive and friendly moment with family and friends, with nice speeches.

On the wedding day, the ceremony took place in an intimate setting near the greenhouse, in the shade of a plane tree. The bridesmaids and groomsmen groups stood next to the beautiful arch dressed with the same flower: the gypsophila. Indeed, the gypsophila was the center of the decoration. Called "Baby's Breath" by the English, they bring this vaporous, light and elegant side, just as the bride and groom wanted.

The cocktail was animated by the team of Mr. Cocktail, proposing beautiful and delicious compositions according to the tastes of the guests. This service provider with whom we usually work excels in his field and makes the moment unforgettable for the bride and groom and their guests. The guests were able to choose their cocktail according to the very aesthetic tables in wood and mirror where each recipe was listed.

Sublime photos of the details of the cocktails were taken by Marion H Weddings to immortalize the talent of the bartenders.

Everyone took their place at their table following the table plan and the escort cards. A pure and light decoration adorned each table with a path of gypsophila. The dinner was prepared and served with care by the caterer Maison Nans

For the little anecdote, a "pièce montée" was planned to close the meal and launch the evening. But something unexpected happened at the last minute: the cake collapsed! The South of France offers a pleasant climate for the bride and groom and their guests, but the cabbage did not appreciate the summer heat. Fortunately for the bride and groom and their guests, Anne-Sophie was able to bounce back with a plan B: dress the choux on a plate, commandeer the waiters and then orchestrate a very rhythmic arrival. A nice setting, champagne, music and the trick was done. An atmosphere worthy of Saint Tropez! Everyone was delighted with this dessert. The bride and groom, who were informed afterwards, finally loved this mishap!

To animate the evening and make the guests dance, we called upon an Afro-American live band from New York.

The next day's brunch was also held at the Château de Roussan in a more relaxed atmosphere. Everyone enjoyed a very sunny day in a relaxing environment after celebrating D&K's wedding until the end of the night.
